What a meet!  

The Co-op team beat the Rams 116 to 65!

With this non-conference matchup we were able to put girls in events they don't normally swim and let other swimmers get a chance at the varsity heat.  Everyone stepped up and did great!  

To highlight the meet I will go by school.

Bridgman:

Ada Klint took first in the 100 Butterfly, 4th in the 200 Freestyle (but she swam the whole race butterfly!!) and was in 2 of the winning relays, the 200 free relay and 400 free relay.

Jill Kaspar took second in the 200 Freestyle and was in 2 relays that took 2nd place.

Berrien Springs:

Mady Keigley took first in the 50 free, 100 breaststroke and was in the winning Medley relay and 200 free relay

Buchanan:

Maddix Roberts took second in the 50 free and was on the winning Medley and 200 free relays

Sydney Smith took second in the 100 backstroke and was on the second place 200 free relay. The freshmen medley relay she was on took 3rd.

Lakeshore:

Nadia Beran took 1st in both the 200 IM and 500 freestyle and was on the 400 free relay that placed 2nd.

Eden Gray was second in both the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle but was on the winning Medley relay and 400 free relay.

Dani Morrill took first in diving with Parker Keim in 2nd and Makenzie McConomy in 4th

Katelyn Schimmel took 3rd in the 200 IM (personal best) and the 100 backstroke. Her 400 free relay was 2nd

Elise Cross took 3rd in the 50 free, was on the freshman medley relay that took 3rd and the 2nd place 400 free relay

Kelsey Wolf was on the 2nd place 200 free relay and took 5th in the 100 freestyle.

Natasha Nance swam the 500 for the first time and was on the 2nd place 200 free relay

New Buffalo:

Zoe Price got a PR in her 100 Breaststroke placing 6th!

Alice Morris was on the 3rd place freshman medley relay. 

Niles:

Ainsley Martin took 1st in the 200 freestyle and 2nd in the 100 freestyle and was on the winning 200 free and 400 free relays

Peyton Racht took 1st in the 100 free and the 100 backstroke and was on the winning medley and 400 free relays

Ellysen Jankoviak was second in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, she was also on the 3rd place freshmen medley relay and the 2rd place 200 free relay.

Our next meet is Tuesday the 14th at Battle Creek Central and the bus leaves at 4:00 pm
