Our Lady Vikings soccer squad had a great game Thursday beating the Bangor Lady Vikings squad 8-0. Keepers Mati Riggenbach and Alyssa Benjamin combined forces for the shut out. The scoring started in tenth minute with Shyann Sowers giving a rocket in the back of the net off a crossed ball from Kamryn Patterson. Patterson scored the final two goals of the first half just ten minutes apart. The second half started with back to back goals scored by Elayna Balderas and Tori Yates. Both goals were assisted by Mary Saylor. Then, Balderas scored in the 27th minute off a mishandled ball by their keeper. The final two goals were unassisted by Alanah Fleming and Kam Patterson. That makes two hat-tricks so far this season for Patterson. Coaches McAllister and Myer were impressed by the teamwork it took to create this win. Way to go ladies!
