Niles won their season opener against South Haven.  The Rams came out ready to play by striking first.  Once Niles settled in, they took control and kept it for the remainder of the game.  Niles was led by senior duo, Kamryn Patterson and Amara Palmer with 25 and 21 points respectfully.  Patterson hit 5 of her 6 three pointers in the first half.  The Vikings tallied 23 steals (Palmer 8, Patterson 6, Lucero 4, Bree Lake 4, Matlock 1); Palmer also led the team with 6 rebounds. Bree Lake and Palmer contributed 3 assist each.  South Haven was led by Dayshauna Crowley with 16 points.
