Niles started the game slow falling behind by 9 points to go into the second quarter.  The Vikings fought back winning each quarter following the first and forcing Three Rivers into overtime.  Unfortunately fouls haunted the home team again; both Patterson and Lucero sat during a portion of the third and fourth quarter with four fouls each.

Niles was led in scoring by it's senior trio, Palmer (19 pts), Patterson (16 pts), and Lucero (11 pts).  Ayshia Smith came off the bench to contribute ten points and four steals.  Palmer gave the team eight rebounds and eight steals.  Three Rivers were led by Rylie Glass with 19 points.

"We need to work on coming out of the gate with energy and ready to play.  I am happy with the fight the girls put up.  However, it's going to be a long season if we continue to have to struggle from behind.  We also need to get our fouls under control.  We had some key players on the bench at crucial times." - Coach Jessica Johnson

Niles will host Paw Paw on Friday, December 10th.
