Niles continues their losing streak at Buchanan tonight.  The game was neck to neck until the Bucks went  a 0-8 point run during the third quarter.  Unfortunately the time expired before the Lady Vikings could fight back into the game.  Amara Palmer led all scorers with 17 points and 3 steals; Kamryn Patterson had 15 points and 4 assists.  Elly Matlock recorded a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds.  Natalie Lucero and Brynn Lake chipped in 8 and 7 points respectively.  Lake also pulled down 8 rebounds.  The Bucks were led by Hannah Herman with 16 points.

"We came into the game focused on keeping our energy up for the full four quarters.  I felt we accomplished our goal.   We had a strong offensive game besides the stretch of turnovers in the third.  We need to work on getting back and rotating much quicker on defense.  Elly Matlock had a great game tonight.  She battled on the boards and gave us some buckets around the rim.  Despite the loss, we will continue to work on getting better day by day." Coach Jessica

The Lady Vikings will travel to Edwardsburg to take on the Eddies Friday night.
