The Niles JV Volleyball team won their first conference match at home tonight. We beat Sturgis in two sets 25-11 and 25-18. It was not an easy night when one of our middles went out with a rolled ankle. We had to take an emergency sub and put on libero in to play all the ay around along with one of our middles.  We were already out two players with injuries and this now brings it to three girls out with injuries.  It was a very fast adjustment that needed to be made and the girls did great. They were scrappy and made it seem like nothing even happened. It was impressive play that any coach would be pleased with.

This now brings our record to 12-1-2 for the season. We return to the court on Saturday where we face some tough competition at the Portage Central invite.
