The Niles Junior Varsity won the season opener against Sturgis High School 38-8. The game was called early due to inclement weather at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Vikings rushing attack was led by Kaden Garrod, Braylon Schultz, Dylan Garris, Corrion Parks and Dane Asmus who all scored a TD. On defense, the Vikings were led by Garrod, Schultz and Riley Cowan.
The Vikings return on Friday September 3rd for their 2nd game against the Buchanan Bucks.
