Boys Junior Varsity Soccer vs. Paw Paw High School

Vikings Win: 8 - 0
Way to go boys! With 8 goals spread out over 30 minutes, the JV Men's Viking squad shut down the visiting Red Wolves. The scoring started with Owen Podlin sinking the ball in the back of the net. The first half finished with back to back goals by Josh McIntyre and Nathan Becraft. The intensity and scoring continued in the second half starting with back to back goals by McIntyre and Becraft. Then, Peyton Burger came alive by combining with teammate Podlin to score one of Peyton's two goals. After Burger's second goal the game was finished off by a cross that came in from Conner Weston glancing off a Paw Paw defender to create an "own goal" against the Red Wolves. Max Clark got his first shut out of the season. It was a real team effort!

Podlin had the assist for Brecraft's crushing goal into the far side of the net. Max Clark made several outstanding saves. The JV squad really started putting it together in the second half.
